Tanya Arora, MD

Tanya Arora’s work explores how we can better listen to and care for children with serious illness and their families. A pediatric palliative care physician and bioethics consultant at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, she helps clinicians strengthen communication and approach each family’s experience with cultural humility. Her teaching draws on improvisational theater to build connection and encourage more responsive care. Tanya has also worked with Doctors Without Borders and in global medical education, experiences that inform her commitment to health equity and partnership with patients and communities.
