Mark Cuban is an entrepreneur and investor, the founder of Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drug Company, which sells generic medications at transparent, marked-up-from-cost prices in an effort to break the opacity of American drug pricing. He was the longtime majority owner of the Dallas Mavericks and a longtime investor on Shark Tank.

He has become an outspoken critic of pharmacy benefit managers and healthcare middlemen, arguing that price transparency is the precondition for any serious reform.
