Tracy Gaudet, MD

Tracy Gaudet is a physician who led the creation of the Whole Health model in the US Department of Veterans Affairs, where she directed the Office of Patient Centered Care and Cultural Transformation. The model reorients care around what matters to a person rather than what is the matter with them, and has been adopted across the VA system.

She was the founding executive director of Duke Integrative Medicine and has worked to move health systems from disease management toward whole-person care.
