Randi Belisomo

Randi Belisomo is a journalist and the co-founder of Life Matters Media, a nonprofit organization producing journalism and community programming on end-of-life care and advance care planning. She spent years as a television news reporter in Chicago.

She founded the organization after the death of her husband, the journalist Carlos Hernandez Gomez, from cancer, and the realization of how unprepared they had been for the decisions that came. She has taught journalism and writes on hospice, palliative care and how families make medical decisions.
