Nii-Quartelai Quartey, EdD

Nii-Quartelai Quartey is a scholar, strategist and advocate who has served as a national senior advisor and LGBTQ liaison at AARP, where he worked on the needs of older LGBTQ adults, including isolation, caregiving and end-of-life planning. He holds a doctorate in education and has taught at Pepperdine.

He is an ordained minister, a radio host and a commentator on equity in aging, and his work bridges faith communities, policy and advocacy for older adults of color.
