Michael Fratkin, MD

Michael Fratkin is a palliative care physician and the founder of ResolutionCare, a telehealth-based palliative care practice built to reach people in rural Northern California who live hours from the nearest specialist. He has spent his career arguing that capable, compassionate care for serious illness should not depend on proximity to a major medical center.

His work combines video visits, community health workers and interdisciplinary teams, and he speaks widely on clinician burnout, presence and the moral core of medical practice.
