Designer, End-of-Life Care Innovator

Ivor Williams

Ivor Williams

Ivor Williams is a designer working on death, dying and bereavement, and a co-founder of Being and Dying, a design practice focused on the end of life. He was a senior design associate at the Helix Centre at Imperial College London, where he led work on digital advance care planning and on redesigning how hospitals communicate about dying.

His projects have included tools for resuscitation decisions, bereavement services and the design of care environments, and he speaks internationally on what design can offer a subject most institutions avoid.
