Dr. Kai-Fu Lee

Kai-Fu Lee is a computer scientist and venture capitalist, the chairman and CEO of Sinovation Ventures and the author of AI Superpowers and co-author of AI 2041. He previously led Google China and held senior roles at Microsoft and Apple, and holds a PhD in computer science from Carnegie Mellon.

A diagnosis of stage IV lymphoma in 2013 interrupted a famously relentless work life and changed what he wrote about afterward; he has since spoken and written extensively about mortality, love and what he believes machines cannot replace in human work and care.
