Psychologist, Author

Jessica Zucker is a psychologist specializing in reproductive and maternal mental health, and the creator of the #IHadaMiscarriage campaign, which broke a long public silence around pregnancy loss. She is the author of I Had a Miscarriage: A Memoir, a Movement and Normalize It: Upending the Silence, Stigma, and Shame Around Women's Health.
Her own second-trimester loss, which she experienced at home while alone, became the starting point for more than a decade of writing and advocacy on grief, shame and women's health. Her work appears regularly in The New York Times and other national outlets.
