Why Massachuesetts Is At The Forefront Of EOL Care

Andrew Dreyfus is President and CEO for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, one of the largest independent Blues plans in the country. Under Andrew’s leadership, Blue Cross pioneered value-based payments and is a founding member of the Massachusetts Coalition for Serious Illness Care as well as the driving force behind the group’s early and widespread success. In his previous role, Andrew developed the “Roadmap to Coverage,” which led to the state’s landmark 2006 Health Reform Law that later became the model for the Affordable Care Act.
