About the Speakers

Tim McGraw is a chart-topping country singer, actor and member of the Board of Directors of Narus Health, a Nashville-based palliative care company. Tim’s unparalleled career includes 43 number one radio singles, 16 number one albums and countless industry accolades. For the first time, Tim will share how the experience of attending to his dying father and the struggles he faced compelled him to find a way to ensure broad access to high-quality care during times of serious illness and through the end of life.

Jim Meadows, MD is the founding Chief Medical Officer for Narus Health, a Nashville-based company focused on technology and service innovations in care support and palliation. His experience in both for-profit and nonprofit health systems prompted his advocacy for better state and federal end of life policy, including twice chairing Tennessee’s state hospice and palliative association. The desire to affect broader change and improve the supply/demand imbalance in care support pushed Jim to join start-up Narus Health which has since expanded its footprint to 46 states, 170 clients, and 130,000 lives.
