Bon Ku, MD, MPP

Bon Ku is an emergency physician and the founding director of the Health Design Lab at Thomas Jefferson University, where he teaches medical students to apply design thinking to healthcare problems. He is the co-author of Health Design Thinking and hosts the podcast Design Lab.

His work brings designers, architects and clinicians together on questions of how care is delivered and experienced, from hospital spaces to medical devices to the way serious illness is communicated.
